BSN program graduate, James Miller, was one of only 15 nurses in the country honored with AACN’s 2020 Circle of Excellence Award.  Recipients of this award are honored for their commitment to achieving excellence while also showcasing exceptional leadership skills. James is an RN in the Cardiovascular Surgery and Transplant ICU at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He has collaborated with Mayo team members including gastroenterology physicians to investigate the use of bile acid replacement. The results of this research, which was presented at two national conferences, resulted in James receiving an award for excellence in research by young investigators.
