Marissa Lajaunie received the Louisiana Health Information Management Association (LHIMA) Outstanding Volunteer Award. This award was established to recognize leaders who have made significant volunteer contributions on behalf of the profession in local, state, or national activities. Marissa received her award at the annual conference during the Sneaker Ball. Congratulations Marissa!


Kristy Courville received the Louisiana Health Information Management Association (LHIMA) South District Award for her tireless dedication to our local chapter. What makes this picture even more special is that she is pictured with one of her former students, Dustin Smith, who currently serves as president of the local chapter. The leadership skills he learned from Kristy clearly paid off! Congratulations Kristy!


Tierney Beebe was the proud recipient of the Louisiana Health Information Management Association (LHIMA) Lou Davidson Graduate Scholarship. Tierney is currently pursuing a Doctor of Health Administration (DHA) degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center.  Congratulations Tierney!
