2021 Chair of CAHIIM’s Health Information Management Accreditation Council (HIMAC)

Anita Hazelwood, EdD, RHIA, FAHIMA has been appointed Chair of CAHIIM's Health Information Management Accreditation Council (HIMAC) for 2021.  Members of HIMAC evaluate HIM programs and offer recommendations on accreditation to the CAHIIM Board of Directors.  HIMAC members also work on various projects, collect data related to the growth and future of HIM education and educators, and are dedicated to maintaining the quality of all HIM programs.
